LIBRARY OVERVIEW:

Located at the heart of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, the Edith Garland Dupré Library served as the central knowledge hub before the Great War. The archive housed academic manuscripts, cultural records, and digital repositories including the Cajun & Creole Music Collection, Acadiana Manuscripts, and the Vault-Tec Community Hub access terminal.

System updates halted October 23rd, 2077, shortly before network collapse.

>> USER LOG: FIELD ENTRY — ARCHIVAL DEEP DIVE

DATE: 11.08.2224 | LOCATION: DUPRÉ LIBRARY — TERMINAL WING

AUTHOR: M. MARCEL JR. (“BIG CHIEF”)

COMPANION FILES: CLANCY / L. BREaux / PINBALL

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We reached the library just as the generators stuttered into silence.

Dust burned in the circuitry; the air still carried ozone.

We returned to the terminals after hours—manual override only.

Clancy watched the ceiling fans spin down. Larry hovered near the power junction, muttering.

Pinball synced the data feeds through my Pip-Boy.

Here’s what we found.

FIELD NOTES — BIG CHIEF:

The Rougarou bloodline isn’t rumor—it’s lineage obscured.

Suppression patterns suggest government intervention pre-war.

Dean records cross paths near the river-trade routes. Fate sealed the merge.

Samson muttered: “History is never lost—only misplaced.”
